Music Evolution: David Guetta

Today is David Guetta's 51 birthday! This famous French DJ, producer and hitmaker took Electronic Dance Music to the next level. I'm going to show you how his music has changed over the years. Let's listen to 5 critical edm songs that guided him to success.

Just a Little More Love

Just a Little More Love - David Guetta's debut single. It was released in 2001. Genre: electro-house.

Love Is Gone

Love Is Gone - released in 2007. It is the oldest song by David Guetta that I knew. I remember hearing this song in the radio and watching clip on TV... This dramatic intro scene in the video... :D The interensting thing about this song is that the guitar from remix of this song was later used in song The Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling.

One Love

One Love - the third single from fourth studio album, released in 2009. Chillout house song. It still sounds modern and I still absolutely love it!

Titanium - released in 2011, featuring Australian artist Sia. It is the most popular house song of all time, I think. The lyrics is related to guns and it caused some problems in the past. In 2012 after the school shooting in United States Titanium have been taken off from radio stations in this country, because of the lyrics.

Hey Mama

Hey Mama - collaboration with Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha and Afrojack, released in 2015. That's weird, I just realised that Bebe Rexha is singing the chorus, not Nicki Minaj. They have similar voice and I haven't heard about Bebe Rexha when this song was released.
